Nice to meet you, I'm Lou!

Hailing from the streets of Bakersfield, California, Lou Beauty has been writing and producing music since he was 13 years old. Taking inspiration from Latin pop music he grew up listening to and his contemporaries in the indie scene, Lou crafts wonky and laid-back pop songs about growing up and figuring life out from his makeshift bedroom studio.

Lou has been consistently creating and releasing music since he started writing love songs in middle school and he is far from slowing down any time soon. A fan of Lou Reed and Frank Ocean, Lou adopted his current moniker in his senior year of high school in 2016 and released his first single on SoundCloud, "Pity", to acclaim from his peers. Since then, Lou has gained over 14,000 plays combined across Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, and Bandcamp.

In 2019, Lou released his single "Golden Boy", which proved to be popular among local circles. He followed "Golden Boy" up in early 2020 with Singles, his first EP. Despite the ongoing pandemic, Lou continues to record and release music from his bedroom in Bakersfield. His latest release is 2021's Agoraphobia, which includes his previously released single "Whatever, Forever" and the Bakersfield Music Award winning single "Bank Account".
